The team of developers of VLC media player announced the release of version 1.0.2 of the media player. The third version for stable branch Goldeneye. This version fixes several bugs including the level of decoding of subtitles with the SSA files, decoding with theora and ogg.
The Mac OS X seems to have benefited from preferential treatment with 64-bit support (experimental) is not yet valid for the Windows version. Also the correction of two crash problems with the user interface in Mac OS X, during an update and when opening some video files (Mac OS X 10.6 only).
If upgrading to VLC media player 1.0.2 is strongly recommended, for reasons of security with the correction of a vulnerability.
