LG Mobile Phones Ranks Highest in Customer Satisfaction

LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A, Inc. (LG Mobile Phones) is once again ranked
"Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Wireless Mobile Phones" by J.D. Power and
Associates. In their biannual J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Wireless
Traditional Mobile Phone Satisfaction Study(SM) — Volume 2, LG was recognized
with the top overall satisfaction score among the traditional mobile phone
manufacturers.

The study, conducted by J.D. Power and Associates, measured customer
satisfaction with traditional wireless handsets across several different factors
including operation, physical design, features and battery function. LG excelled
in all factors, ranking highest overall among competitors in every category and
ranked significantly above the industry average in overall satisfaction. The
company received highest recognition among consumers for operation, features,
physical design, and battery function.

"For the second time this year, LG Mobile Phones has been recognized by J.D.
Power and Associates for being highest in customer satisfaction," said Ehtisham
Rabbani, vice president of product strategy and marketing for LG Mobile Phones.
"Listening to our consumers’ needs, and delivering on them, has always been a
priority at LG. Knowing that our products and efforts are not only appreciated,
but viewed as greatest in the industry, is very rewarding."

The J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Wireless Traditional Mobile Phone
Satisfaction Study(SM) – Volume 2 recognizes one manufacturer, on a biannual
basis, for their performance in customer satisfaction. The award is a result of
findings based on responses from 12,595 of consumers annually, according to J.D.
Power and Associates. J.D. Power and Associates is a global marketing
information firm that represents the voice of the customer.
