Microsoft Gold Partner: Point of View announces Windows 7 OS on Mobii product line

POINT OF VIEW, premier NVIDIA graphics partner and Microsoft Gold
partner, is announcing today the deployment of Microsoft’s newest
operating system; Windows 7. This will be the standard OS on the
complete Mobii product range.

The key element in the development of the new operating system has
been the optimization of the performance, which has turned out really
successful. Even while the operating system was still in BETA phase,
journalists and tech-junkies all over the world have already confirmed
the performance improvement that comes with Windows 7.

A smart resource management makes Windows 7 perfectly suitable for
compact and portable systems. An increased desktop responsiveness,
better software compatibility and optimized driver frame work will
allow the user to get the most out of their desktop of notebook
computer. Even the booting process gets faster with Windows 7!

After an extensive testing phase, Point of View has concluded that this
is indeed the best solution for desktops, notebook, netbooks and
nettops and will pursue in offering this software together with the
Mobii product line.

With Internet Explorer 8, Windows Media Player 12 and a thousand
more visual features, tools and  applications standard included in
Windows 7; Point of View is proud to present the renewed out-of-the-box
experience of all Mobii products.

Mobii netbooks, both Intel and ION based will be standard delivered
with Windows 7 Starter. The Mobii Slim-line ULV notebook and the Mobii
(ION) miniPC are equipped with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Microsoft Windows 7 will be available on Point of View Mobii
products from 22 October 2009. Please note that the XP license is still
available for netbooks and that the availability of the Mobii product
line in combination with Windows 7 (or other OS) can vary by country or
retailer.
