One paise per second tariff plan for Ping mobile subscribers

‘Ping’ Mobile, the CDMA brand of HFCL Infotel Limited, has launched a special tariff voucher with Pay per Use plan for its subscribers in Punjab and Chandigarh.

With this offer Ping prepaid subscribers can now enjoy both local and STD calls at just one paise/second irrespective of the service providers.

Ping Mobile was the first telcom company in the country to innovate the concept of offering one paise per second tariff way back in September 2007 at the time of the launch of its mobile service in Punjab and Chandigarh, to enable the subscribers to pay-per-use-basis, informed Mr. Sanjay Bahl, the company’s spokesperson.

At the moment none of the CDMA or GSM telecom companies operating in Punjab have introduced this tariff plan, which remains the highlight of the company’s offerings since beginning, Mr. Bahl said.

The availability of even the STD calls at one paise per second makes Ping the leader in innovation, he added.

The cost of the Special tariff voucher is Rs.52 which shall have one-year validity and one-paise tariff for all local and STD calls. Ping has been very successful in reaching out to the youngsters as well as the rural and suburban areas in the last two year.
