TheInquirer.net were contacted by an Electronic Arts spokesman who was pleased to deny that any of its games have support for this API. He was not specific about the exact titles but our understanding was that none of their games use this new Shader Model.
We don’t know whether it is planning to use SM 3.0 in the future.
This cuts the Nvidia secret list size in half, but we are sure that this shader model will get accepted by them when the time comes. My feeling is that ATI might jump with its Shader Model 3.0 card when Nvidia wins all the battles for Shader Model 3.0 acceptance.
