Emulex Corporation announced that its Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) OneConnect Universal Converged Network Adapters (UCNAs)
have been selected exclusively for use in Verari Systems’ data center
platforms and are now shipping with the Verari Systems FOREST Container
solutions. All of Emulex’s OneConnect UCNAs enable network convergence
through support of full hardware protocol offload for Transmission
Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Internet Small Computer
System Interface (iSCSI) and FCoE.

The Verari Systems FOREST Container
is a modular, portable data center that is deployable virtually

OneConnect FCoE UCNAs in its FOREST Containers, Verari further
maximizes its compute density and I/O performance delivering a
flexible, open, reliable, energy efficient, scalable and transportable
solution that addresses the growing constraints of traditional
brick-and-mortar data centers.
