Resonance of Fate won’t be lost in translation

SEGA Europe Ltd. today announced that the highly anticipated Japanese
role-playing game, Resonance of Fate, will feature fully localised text
in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. In a show of
commitment to fans of the genre in the western market, players will be
able to choose between Japanese or English voice-overs and then enjoy
subtitles in their own language. All menus, conversations with NPCs and
other in-game text have been translated to the highest standards by
SEGA’s talented localisation team.

Resonance of Fate, is set in a dystopian future where Earth is no
longer capable of sustaining life. The tower-like Basel structure,
originally built as an experimental life support system, is now the
only place mankind can survive. As part of the Private Military Firm,
our heroes (Vashyron, Zephyr and Leanne), seek out and complete quests
for their clients but are eventually led on a journey that will reveal
the dark secrets behind the world they live in. From the studio of
heralded RPG developers, tri-Ace, Resonance of Fate adds a fresh spin
to the genre with a new cinematic action gameplay system centered
around gun-play and a fascinating steampunk-styled world.

Resonance of Fate will be released in Europe in March 2010.
