Blizzard interested in developing console?

It is easy to imagine Blizzard after its notes raised by the phenomenal success of World of Warcraft on PC. But this does not mean that American society has away the video game consoles, but it has left there now nearly fifteen years. For many, represents Blizzard World of Warcraft, and vice versa. But only the ignorant narrow minds and stick to that definition too narrow.

In making a journey into the past, we learn that the company that gave birth to the most played MMORPG in the world is also one that has developed The Death and Return of Superman, launched in 1994 on Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo.

This software will not however be kept in memory as the best Blizzard appearance on consoles. Still on the same media, released the same year Rock’n Roll Racing (1995 for the Genesis version), which will return the developer in the big league. And later, one wonders …

It was during a meeting between the site Gamasutra and directors of Starcraft II and World of Warcraft as a possible future development console has been raised. Allen Brack (Production Director of WoW) and was defined as a gamer who does not stop at the PC, and says the same thing for Samwise Didier (Senior Director of Starcraft II and head of management Art first three Warcraft games):

"But we are a society of players. I have two consoles at home. Sam consoles. We are a culture of players. We will certainly work on a game console at one time. I have no doubt about that above. It’s just a question of any game What was the most sense? "

When we read the following interview, we realize that The Lost Vikings is a title still present in the minds of the folks at Blizzard. The last episode of this series was in 1998 (excluding ports), and had also been sold on machines less powerful than the PCs of the era, such as the PlayStation, Saturn and Super Nintendo that it was still a little life. The reunion will certainly not displeasing to the players.
