Agfa was the first manufacturer to introduce an electronic shutter release on its electronic cameras, which eliminated camera shake, one of many innovations in its 138-year history. The red sensor dot is still well known today in the world of photography.

It stood for the very same values and tradition of excellence that remain the foundation of the AgfaPhoto name in today’s evolving marketplace.

“Consumer demand for USB and memory cards have seen dramatic growth in the past few years. Industry sources point to an economic recovery where intensified demand for digital storage products will be fueled by renewed interest in consumer electronics products,” says Gross. “AgaPhoto memory solutions, with their high level of consumer brand awareness, will be uniquely positioned to capitalize on this exciting new area for retail growth,” he concludes.
