Buffalo introduces new benchmarks in its line of hard drives with SSD SHD-series NSUH.

From a design much closer to that of a conventional hard drive this new family of DSS includes four models all offer 2.5-inch format, with 3.0 Gbps SATA interface and USB, and with 64 MB of onboard cache.

We also know that flash memory is used for NAND MLC (multi-level cell) and, according to the manufacturer, the transfer rate is expected to reach 186.6 MB / sec. Support for the Windows command TRIM is also the party.

Declined in versions 32, 64, 128 and 256 GB SSDs SHD-NSUH be proposed for respectively $ 253, $ 369, $ 637 and $ 1161. The 64GB models and 128 GB are already available on the Japanese market, we expect its 32GB counterpart to late January while the 256GB will be available to him from the month of May 2010.
