This is a real turnaround which is currently operating in the United States in the conflict between Apple Samsung. ITC has indeed imposed an embargo on Samsung products that is illegally using patented Apple technology.
ITC (International Trade Commission) is under the spotlight last week and the conflict between Apple and Samsung.
Following a trial that turned in favor of Samsung, ITC imposed a ban on the sale of several Apple products including the iPhone 3, 4 and 4S as well as some iPad.
Today, there is a new turnaround: ITC announced the ban on some of Samsung devices using the technology of screen scrolling and headphone jacks that are the property of Apple outlet.
The Obama administration has 60 days to veto the decision.
The affected devices include the Galaxy S 4G, Fascinate, Captivate, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Tab 10.1 and also a range of smartphones and tablets that were out between 2010 and 2011.
Apple could successfully extend the ban on more recent products of Samsung as it was determined that they in turn violated the patents cited in the case.
This event could raise tensions already created by the U.S. veto on the blockade of Apple products between the U.S. and Korea. Apple sees this recognition that Samsung merely copied its products without actually investing in innovation.
