If Asus has decided to abandon Windows RT, the company redoubled its efforts in the area of mobility and new devices that will soon emerge.
At a conference held in China with its partners, the manufacturer Asus has released a roadmap, spotted by Mobile Geeks.de, revealing the next products to be marketed. No technical feature has been mentioned, but it seems that the company wants to max out Samsung that is being present in all market segments.
With its entry level MeMO Pad HD 7 tablet Asus wanted to position themselves to the Nexus 7. At the entry level tablet launched earlier this year, Asus provides a model with a diagonal of 8 inches, with the MeMO Pad HD 8. Remember Asus also has the Smart Pad MeMO with 10 inch screen to overshadow the Nexus 10.
The company also plans to expand its range of hybrid devices: the PadFone, offering a couple of smartphone and tablet. After versions 1, 2 and Infinity, Asus PadFone should market the Mini. Current PadFone tablets couple have a diagonal of 10.1 inches, the Mini version could therefore reduce the diagonal.
Finally the road sheet also mentions a MeMOFone HD 5. Judging by the name, it should be a smartphone with a 5-inch HD panel with the same size as the PadFone Infinity smartphone already offering a definition of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
