Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition Release Date Revealed for PC and MAC

Beamdog, Atari and Overhaul Games have recently announced the release date of Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition, a high-definition version of the famous role-playing game from Bioware, originally released in 2000.

The studio has previously marketed Beamdog Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, a high-definition version of popular role-playing game based on the Dungeons & Dragons license. Unfortunately, this resmasterisation was found blasted by several technical problems and that it was possible to propose a more beautiful game adding mods to the it in 1998.

After some concerned contracts pushed the studio to temporarily withdraw its game sales, but now Beamdog prepares to release Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition for PC and Mac.

This HD version of the second part is originally developed by Bioware that includes the initial campaign, expansion of Baldur’s Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, and the bonus content of The Black Pits 2: Gladiators of Thay. Four new characters were added in this version, as well as improvements in the multiplayer mode and a widescreen support.

Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition will be released on November 15, 2013 on PC and Mac, at $24.95. It is possible to pre-order this game on the official website of Beamdog. IOS and Android versions will come in a second time.
