Through the ROG (Republic Of Gamers) brand, the Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has announced its muscular version of the GeForce GTX 780 graphics card.
Poseidon named GTX 780 and identifiable to its reference product P-GTX780-3GD5, this graphics card offers a high performance GPU frequency to 1006 MHz running at 863-900 MHz against the reference model. It embarks 3GB GDDR5 384-bit interfac and clocked at 6008 MHz, as the model Nvidia.
For its thermal dissipation it uses a device combining air cooling and liquid cooling (also called watercooling). The gain in temperature can reach 24 degrees Celsius depending on the application. Those who will just use air cooling can expect a difference of only 7 degrees Celsius.
A homemade tool can tweak the settings of frequency and ventilation for the performance/consumption/nuisance which is the most interesting report.
In terms of connectivity finally, there are two ports, HDMI and DisplayPort. The global availability of this graphics card is expected by the end of this month. No price is detailed yet.
