Very active manufacturer from the Indian origin, Micromax, on the smartphone market, today unveiled a model called Canvas XL A119.
Called Canvas XL A119, this smartphone indeed adopts the phablet format due to its diagonal screen of 6 inches. It comes with a quad core 1.3 GHz processor (original MediaTek) associated with a 1 GB RAM. For OS, the choice fell on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version. Micromax could offer 4.3 Jelly Bean and even 4.4 KitKat upgrade for this phone in the near future.
In terms of features, the Micromax Canvas XL A119 smartphone offers a 6-inch qHD display (960 x 540 pixels) on an IPS panel (wide viewing angles), two SIM housing, support for 3G+/ Wi-Fi N and GPS/FM/Bluetooth, a 8 megapixel digital camera with LED flash at rear and 5 megapixels front facing webcam. It also offers a 4GB internal flash memory expandable with a MicroSD card with a maximum capacity of 32GB. It has dimensions of 16.5 x 8.4 x 1 cm and a weight of 180 grams, it features a battery of 2,450 mAh that allows up to 9 hours 30 minutes talktime.
Micromax Canvas XL A119 will cost Rs. 13990 in the Indian market.
