
Corsair has expanded its range of boxes with the launch of three new Carbide cases belonging to the family, Carbide SPEC. The Corsair Carbide SPEC-01, SPEC-02 and SPEC-03 have been created for gamers and have some very interesting features and affordable rates.
The Corsair SPEC-01 is a case compatible with mini ITX, micro ATX and ATX motherboards and has dimensions of 467 x 200 x 413 mm. It has 2 bays of 5.25 inches and offers the possibility of adding up to four 2.5" or 3.5" bays. It allows installation of two front 120mm fans, two top 120 and one rear 120, including 1 front fan with red LED lighting.
It has 7 expansion slots and the front panel has a USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 and audio output and microphone input.
SPEC-02 and SPEC-03 are virtually identical computer cases. Compatible with the same type of plates that SPEC-01 has, their dimensions are 445 x 185 x 440 mm. They come with two 5.25" bays, two bays of 2.5" and three 3.5" bays. The cooling system allows the installation of both with a front fan of 140 mm or two 120 mm, for upper having one 140 mm and two 120 mm fan, a rear 120 mm and one at the bottom 120 mm fan.
The difference between SPEC-02 and SPEC-03 is in the number of fans each incorporating, like two for SPEC-02 and three for SPEC-03. Both accounts with a 2 front panel USB 3.0 and audio input/output.
All three incorporate dust filters and side window. The price of the Corsair Carbide SPEC-01 is $49.99, and the Corsair Carbide SPEC-02 and SPEC-03 are priced at $59.99.
