
Capcom took advantage of the recent press conference of Sony to announce the development of Resident Evil Revelations 2, a sequel to the survival horror game released on 3DS and re-released in HD on consoles.
The Resident Evil series tends to outcome with RE 6 which was less convincing than the origins of the series. However, Resident Evil Revelations has been described as a survival horror to the genre. Interestingly, although some parts of the game are always action-oriented.
While the title has received an adaptation on home consoles, publisher Capcom has not finished making use of this spin-off. Indeed, the firm used the press conference of pre-Tokyo Game Show (TGS) to announce the development of Resident Evil Revelations 2.
While the first film focused on Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield (the original hero of the franchise) is also in the news, it is confirmed that this series will introduce new characters and storyline apart.
The game will be playable through the TGS 2014 of this month and is calibrated for early release in 2015, at least on PS4. For now, release on other platforms concerned have not been disclosed.
