Ryse: Son of Rome PC system configurations released by Crytek

In preparation for the upcoming release of Ryse: Son of Rome on PC, Crytek released the minimum and recommended system requirements to determine if the title is greedy and requires a change of components or not.

Originally released for the launch of Xbox One, Ryse: Son of Rome was finally confirmed on PC, a few weeks ago. In agreement with publisher Deep Silver, Crytek will offer this version of the game in box and digital format via Steam.

The title will include all the content from the Xbox One version, as well as all the DLC released in a second time.

The development studio now offers us to learn about the minimum and recommended configurations of the game, to prepare our PC in advance:

Minimum System Requirements:

  •     Processor: Dual core with HyperThreading technology or quad core
  •     Examples: Intel Core i3 clocked at 2.8 GHz (3220T) or AMD Phenom II X4 clocked at 3.2 GHz (945)
  •     RAM: 4GB
  •     Graphics card: DirectX 11 compatible with 1GB of memory
  •     Examples: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or AMD Radeon HD 7770
  •     Operating System: 64 bit Windows (Vista, 7, 8)
  •     Disk space: 26 GB

Recommended:

  •     Processor: Quad Core or Six Core
  •     Examples: Intel Core i5 clocked at 3.3 GHz (2500k) or AMD FX-6350 clocked at 3.9 GHz
  •     Memory: 8GB
  •     Graphics card: DirectX 11 compatible with 2GB memory
  •     Examples: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660Ti or AMD Radeon 7850 or 260x
  •     Operating System: 64 bit Windows (Vista, 7, 8)
  •     Disk space: 26 GB

Ryse: Son of Rome PC will go on sale on October 10, 2014.
