Apple is expected to announce its new iPad tablets in mid-October but already information on the assumed characteristics of the iPad Air 2 appeared on the Web.
A few days now is left for presenting the new iPad Mini and iPad tablets, but information on the characteristics of these new tablets have already emerged. If Apple remains silent as usual on the subject, Themichaelreport website confirms the arrival of the iPad Air 2 (iPad sixth generation) and iPad Mini Retina 2 (iPad Mini third generation) on October 16 event, as well as a new line of iMac with computer with Retina display along with the availability of Mac OS X Yosemite.
The appearance of the iPad Air 2 tablet should be close to that of the current model but with a slimming cure which will reduce the thickness of 0.5 mm compared to the iPad Air and which should bring down the thickness to about 7 mm.
This could lead the brand to submit the tablet as one of the finest in the world. The two speaker gate were reduced to a single larger ones which is similar to the style of those in the iPhone 6.
Another effect of the fineness of the iPad Air 2 is the Mute button that has disappeared while the volume keys are thinner than the current model to better blend into the overall design. The gold color, hitherto confined to iPhone, will also be there.
The thickness reduction sought in the new iPad Air is also related to a change in technology that combines protective LCD panel and block a display. The APN will go back to 8 megapixels instead of 5 while the processor is of course a SoC Apple A8 but with 2GB of RAM, against 1GB of the iPad Air and iPhone 6.
Themichaelreport website also suggests that there will be no 16GB version of the iPad Air 2 (but it will be available for the iPad Mini Retina 2), leading to three possibilities: 32, 64 or 128 GB. The Fingerprint Reader Touch ID module should also be present for the first time on an iPad, with the ability to use the Apple Pay payment system.
