The Galaxy Mega 2, a XXL smartphone with a diagonal of 6 inches, should no longer delay to reach the Indian market. It seems that this is no longer a matter of weeks.
Formalized in late September, the Galaxy Mega 2 Phablet is still not available in most of the European countries. However, it is indeed that Samsung is already offering this phablet in several Asian markets, including India, Malaysia and Thailand, and the South Korean manufacturer is about to launch it in the United States later.
While the Galaxy Note 4 is positioned on the high end, remember that the Galaxy Mega 2 sees a more modest configuration, so as to offer a wide diagonal. At the side of price, a price of Rs 20,900 was found, leaving hope for a product below 300 euros.
Coming with Android KitKat, Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 uses a platform of Qualcomm quad-core processor running at 1.5 GHz or 1.2 (depending on market) coupled with a 1.5GB of RAM. It offers a 6-inch diagonal with 720p, 4G/LTE compatibility Class 4-150 Mbit/s, Wi-Fi N/GPS/FM/Bluetooth 4.0/NFC, camera sensors of 2.1/8 megapixel with flash memory of 16GB expandable to MicroSD and battery of 2800 mAh. All in dimensions of 16.3 x 8.5 x 0.9 cm and weighing 194 grams.
