Weighing 540 grams and accusing just 18 millimeters thick, the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-B2 tablet advantages indeed with a design that guarantees resistance to falls from a height of 1.5 meters, the infiltration of dust and splashing water.
With android 4.4 KitKat, it offers a 7-inch LCD screen in a definition of 1280 x 800 pixels resolution with a brightness level of 500 candelas per square meter for easy reading in direct sunlight and a flash memory of 32 GB expandable by MicroSD to accommodate data. It also has camera sensors of 5 and 2 megapixels for photos and video conferencing, with modules of 4G/WiFi 802.11ac/Bluetooth 4.0 for exchange in wireless and a USB 3.0 port for wired exchanges.
Functions can be extended by means of options for reading 2D barcodes, reading smart cards or use in vehicles.
To animate, the choice fell on an Intel Celeron N2930 processor, a quad-core model running from 1.83 to 2.16 GHz coupled here with a 2 GB RAM. A rechargeable battery in 2.5 hours hot-swappable provides for its power for up to 7 hours.
A price of 799 euros has been announced for this professional tablet which is expected during December.
