PC-BSD 8.0 Beta version released

The next major development of secure operating system for beginners FreeBSD unfolds through a first beta.

Having to base FreeBSD operating system free PC-BSD has been designed to offer ease of handling and a high level of security to the less experienced users.

Currently in version 7.1.1, code-named Galileo, PC-BSD will soon be in version 8.0, code named Hubble. Pending the publication of a final package aimed at everyone sir, this is a beta that comes grinding to emerge for the return of bugs and solving them.

The menu innovations and improvements of the next major upgrade include support on FreeBSD 8.0, the update of the graphical environment to KDE version 4.3.4, updated graphics drivers for the nVIDIA GeForce version 195.22, improved manager applications including the ability to find and install applications directly via the Web, the new system installer that installs the choice PC-BSD or FreeBSD and the ability to boot mode Live with the DVD for an overview of the system.
