Looking for an Android smartphone ready for adventure? That falls well for Sonim Technologies, manufacturer known for some years for its enhanced mobile that has unveiled a model called XP7 Extreme.

The smartphone Sonim XP7 Extreme takes advantage indeed of resistance to immersion in water, a shock resistance from all angles and a resistance to large temperature variations.

Intended for outdoor use in all weather, it also offers a sunlight readable display and use with gloves, a speaker with 103 decibels for handsfree and battery of 4800 mAh for up to 1000 hours standby or 40 hours of voice calls. This third point explains the weight of 290 grams of the smartphone.

Best of all, the manufacturer's warranty is of three years which it benefits cover accidental damage.

To animate the Sonim XP7 Extreme smartphone, there is a SoC Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor with 1.2 GHz and 1 GB of RAM.

In terms of functionality, it evokes a 4-inch display of 800 x 480 pixels resolution, a support for 4G/LTE Category 4 (up to 150 Mbit/s), a back camera sensor 8 Megapixels/1080p, a front camera sensor of 1 Megapixel and flash memory of 16GB. As for the operating system, it comes with Android 4.4 KitKat.

Availability must intervene in the month of March 2015. It was announced around at $600.
