Factory Media, Europe’s largest action sports media owner has announced the release of a video sharing application for the iPhone. The launch of Apple application for the market leading video and community platform MPORA expands its current 3.8 million monthly unique user base. An estimated 50-million iPhone and iPod users in 77 countries worldwide will now be able to watch over 25,000 extreme sports videos on the MPORA video app for free.
Users can browse and watch movies by sport category, by the most popular, the most recent, or even watch handpicked recommendations from online editors. Users of the iPhone app will have the best action sports content on the web at their fingertips. Everything from major event highlights, pro rider profiles, and trick tips, the latest teasers, brand podcasts, movie webisodes and stacks more.
Within the platform users will be able to enjoy MPORA’s extensive coverage of surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, mountain biking, BMX, FMX and motocross, skiing, wakeboarding and windsurfing. MPORA.com also covers cliff diving, kite surfing, climbing, kayaking, snowmobiling, base-jumping and holds videos from all over the world.
