FAQware, a leader in creating and managing content rich web sites, today publicly released its brand new FaultWire Manager software for Windows. It provides instant solutions and information on warnings, errors and crash messages. The FaultWire Manager is unique in providing extensive information on both Windows and Windows application problems with a single click.
"Users are frustrated with the many warnings and error messages that fail to explain clearly what is wrong and how to correct it. Worse, you have to manually re-type these messages to communicate the issue with others or to enter a web search for a solution." said Mr. van Gilluwe, President of FAQware. "With the FaultWire Manager, users get one-click access to extensive information and solutions specific to the issue at hand," explained Mr. van Gilluwe.
The FaultWire Manager is available in two editions, a free Basic edition and a low-cost Pro edition. Both editions provide a single-click FaultWire solution button on dialogs of interest.
The user simply clicks on the FaultWire button to open a solution page on the FaultWire web site. This page is unique to the specific message and message source. FaultWire’s Patent Pending SmartFilter technology removes variable message information such as filenames and dates so the same message with minor different content always arrives at the same FaultWire page.
The FaultWire page delivers solutions and technical information about the issue. It also identifies the company that generated the message along with how to contact the company for downloads and support. Additional content shows how often the issue occurs, links to a forum for this specific issue, and a mini web-search for more about the issue.
