AMD to release three new quad-core processors compatible with socket AM3

The firm AMD, based in Sunnyvale, Calif., will complete its processor line with three new quad-core models compatible with socket AM3. Responding to the names of 975 Phenom X4 II Black Edition, Phenom X4 910th II II X4 and Phenom 820, they will replace the current Phenom X4 II 965 Black Edition, Phenom X4 905th II II X4 and Phenom 810.

The first displays a clock frequency of 3.6 GHz, L2 cache of 2MB, a L3 cache of 6MB, and a TDP of 140 Watts. The second part of his works at 2.6 GHz, has 2 MB cache second level and 6 MB of cache memory and said third level of a TDP of 65 Watts. The third, he runs at 2.8 GHz, has 2MB of L2 cache and 4 MB of L3 cache and has a TDP of 95 Watts.

These processors will be sold at prices close to those references that are supposed to replace. It is thus necessary to count between 100 and 200 euros depending on model chosen.
