With T101MT Eee PC, Asus upgrades the family of low power Tablet PC with a new model that combines the most recent refinements of the segment. If his predecessor, T91MT, already offered a multi-touch screen, it was launched just before the arrival of the platform Pine Trail, and did not enjoyed.

The multi-touch screen articulated this new model goes especially to 10.1 inches, but it displays the same definition WSVGA. It is sensitive to 256 levels of pressure with the stylus included. Externally, only the upper diagonal of the screen appears at first glance to distinguish it from its predecessor.
It also houses the second generation of the processor low power Intel Atom N450 with a combined CPU clocked at 1.66GHz and GMA 3150 GPU. This is supported by 1 or 2 GB of DDR2 RAM and a hard drive of 160 or 320 GB depending on model, the first being with the Starter edition of Windows 7, the second of the Home Premium edition . The wireless Bluetooth connectivity and Wi-Fi N supplement this equipment as standard, while there is an SD card reader, three USB 2.0 ports, one RJ45 port and a VGA output on the flanks of the computer. Its battery capacity unspecified, giving finally an endurance of 6 and a half hours for a weight of 1.3 kg and a thickness of 31 mm.
As usual, Asus has not revealed the price and the date of this T101MT Eee PC.
