InfoDome, Inc., a developer
of online database software, unveiled InfoDome 1.0 today at the DEMO
Spring 2010 conference in Palm Desert, California. Under development for
two years, InfoDome 1.0 promises to revolutionize the way databases are
created and used, making it easy to collect, manage, analyze and share
data.
According to Dave Kleinberg, CEO of InfoDome, Inc., "Unlike software
databases that are hard to share and other online tools that are either
limited in functionality or clunky to use, InfoDome 1.0 is visually
driven and powerful. With just a few clicks, spreadsheet users and
database authors can import their data, visually create forms, visually
create sophisticated reports, and selectively share forms, reports and
records with specific people or on their website."
InfoDome 1.0 features
include:
-- Create an online relational database solution from scratch, by importing existing data, or by customizing pre-built applications -- Import Microsoft Excel, .csv, text, Microsoft Access and FilemakerPro files -- Design forms visually with full WYSIWYG layout capabilities -- Create reports visually with WYSIWYG tools, live data and automatic re-totaling -- Easily share forms, reports and records with specific users or groups -- End-users use forms and reports without the ability to modify or break the database -- Embed forms in a website as HTML or Flash without programming
InfoDome 1.0 is 100% browser-based and requires no hardware,
software, programming or IT. Developers can use REST API’s to integrate
with other applications. Security is ensured via encrypted passwords
(256-bit), secure transport (SSL, HTTPS), and a secure data center with
physically separated user databases.
"InfoDome 1.0 gives users tremendous benefits. It’s simple enough to
start being productive immediately and powerful enough to support
advanced database needs," says Kleinberg.
