Free Asset and License Management Tool From GWI Software

GWI Software announces the release of iSupport Asset, a free
web-based asset and license tracking solution powerful and flexible
enough to accommodate IT departments of varying size and process
requirements. iSupport Asset is available as free download at gwi website.

Asset Management Functionality

iSupport Asset enables you to track information about any type of
item or service. Features include import and integration, dynamic and
scheduled scanning with baselines and comparisons, and customizable
fields, groups, and types for establishing asset relationships and
access.

Software License Management

iSupport Asset’s software license management tracking features are
integrated with asset scan functionality for tracking instances of
software titles against specified conditions and quantities. You can
track asset ownership using customer and company functionality, which
includes directory integration and customizable fields and groups for
reporting and correspondence.

Custom Views, Charts, and Reports

iSupport Asset enables you to create views, charts, alerts, and
reports via an easy-to-use Desktop interface.

Flexible Configuration

Use iSupport Asset’s Configuration module to track support
representative access, enable and customize notifications and
correspondence templates, and more.

"In a tight economy, managing assets and product licenses
efficiently is more important than ever," commented Daren Nelson,
Founder and CEO of GWI Software. "We’re happy to be giving our customers
a free tool that delivers a concise picture of how their IT resources
are allocated and what licenses may be available for other purposes. The
fact that iSupport Asset can be easily integrated into our Incident
Management or Service Desk Edition while retaining existing data is a
huge plus as well; clients whose needs later expand to requiring a full
featured service desk solution will find the transition seamless."
