The first details on a HTC Android 2.1 Incredible smartphone had appeared in March. It is now officially in the operator Verizon Wireless.
HTC Incredible smartphone does exist and the operator Verizon Wireless will soon distribute it. It is a high-end smartphone under Android 2.1 overcoated with HTC Sense touchscreen which enjoys a hardware platform of Qualcomm SnapDragon finally clocked at 1 GHz.
The terminal integrates a capacitive display 3.7" AMOLED with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and an 8 megapixel digital camera back with dual LED flash. It manages wireless connectivity of 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth and has a GPS module integrated.
High-end but in CDMA version
At the front there is an optical mouse while it enjoys a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Incredible HTC smartphone takes advantage of Google mobile applications and application access to the Android Market. Verizon will also offer dedicated applications: NFL Mobile and Mobile Skype for VoIP on its 3G network.
This is a new family member to Droid Verizon (It’s a Droid, it’s Incrediblee") that will track the evolution of online articles on community networks Flickr, Facebook and Twitter.
The HTC Incredible will be available for Verizon Wireless from April 29 for a price of 199.99 dollars and with a subscription of two years. Verizon requires, it is compatible with CDMA networks and therefore not suitable for GSM networks.
