3D Eye Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce
that the company has signed a content conversion agreement with
Magnetic 3D, the global leader in glasses-free, auto-stereoscopic 3D
displays and 3D digital signage solutions. Under the agreement, 3D Eye
Solutions will serve as Magnetic 3D’s vendor for converting 2D content
to 3D for its customers and third party partners.
Magnetic 3D offers LCD flat panel 3D display technology that
showcases crystal clear, high-definition 3D video content without the
use of special 3D glasses. This effect is made possible through the
company’s Enabl3D(TM) multi-stereo technology, which utilizes a precise
combination of proprietary hardware, software, connectivity solutions
and 3D content creation techniques. Currently, Magnetic 3D offers its
glasses-free 3D screens in sizes ranging from 22 to 55 inches. In
addition to a History Channel promotion conducted with its screens in
New York, Magnetic 3D recently deployed screens at the Sun Life Stadium
in Miami for Super Bowl XLIV for the "Suites of the Future" campaign to
demonstrate innovations in event entertainment.
"More than 50 years ago, the conversion of content from black
and white to color revolutionized the broadcast industry, and the
conversion of 2D to glasses-free 3D content presents similar
opportunities today," said James Zahakos, president of Magnetic 3D.
"After conducting an extensive evaluation of their processes, we have
established that 3D Eye Solutions’ 2D to glasses-free 3D conversion
capabilities are an ideal complement to our industry-leading
auto-stereoscopic 3D displays. This will allow companies with massive
libraries of content and creative assets to generate new revenue in the
new and exciting medium of glasses-free 3D."
"We are excited to be a content conversion vendor for Magnetic
3D as it gives us the ability to offer our 3D conversions on a wide
variety of screen sizes, for any size venues," stated Michael Gibilisco,
CEO of 3D Eye Solutions, Inc. "Magnetic 3D screens are high in quality
and display an amazing picture, which make them ideal for glasses-free
advertising, 3D that grabs consumers’ attention."
