Galen Advisors, a leading provider of Revenue Cycle Management
solutions for physicians, will preview their new Practice Analytics
software at the Centricity Health User Group meeting to be held in
Tucson, Arizona April 29 through May 1.
Practice Analytics extends the Centricity offering by providing
doctors a real-time, dashboard view of their Revenue Cycle. Practice
Analytics gives physicians and practice managers the power to:
— See their end-to-end Revenue Cycle using an intuitive graphical dashboard
— Summarize key performance indicators or dive into specific details
— View query results by specific provider, payer, location, or CPT Code
— Forecast net collections and cash flow
Currently in beta testing, the Practice Analytics solution was built
in tandem with Galen Advisors’ technology partner, Northridge.
Northridge is a professional services firm focused on delivering
high-value business consulting and technology services on the Microsoft
platform. Built on the Microsoft SharePoint, .NET, and SQL Server
platforms, Practice Analytics allows access from any internet enabled
PC.
"The Galen Advisors Practice Analytics business intelligence software
is an enterprise-class solution developed on the Microsoft SharePoint
platform," explained Dave Kellogg, Northridge Senior Manager. "There are
over 100 million SharePoint users world-wide. Utilizing SharePoint
means that the physicians can get secure instant access via a proven,
hosted platform and avoid IT hassles."
"In today’s world, physicians can’t wait for monthly financial
reports. We designed Practice Analytics to provide the daily updates on
current and forecasted financial performance that doctors need to better
manage their practice," stated Jere Pittner, Galen Advisors CEO and
Co-founder.
Along with previewing the new Practice Analytics solution at the
Centricity Health User Group meeting, Ms. Pittner will also be speaking
at the event. Ms. Pittner draws on her experience as a successful
practice manager to present Making the Most from a Medical Practice.
In this session, practice managers will attain the resources and
knowledge required to move their practice forward. Attendees will learn
to analyze and renegotiate contracts and when to utilize ancillary
services as well as a variety of other valuable practice management
information.
