The Chinese brand Aigo preparing a touch pad of 7" with Tegra processor 2 and Android, which should bear the name of Aigo N700.
Chinese brand Aigo has in his files a draft Android Touch Pad with features looking pretty interesting. Her name is supposed to be Aigo N700 because of the presence of a 7" touch screen capacitive multitouch with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
Its uniqueness is that it would use a Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, which is one of the first processors available to board architecture ARM Cortex-A9 dual core running at 1 GHz. The tablet has dimensions of 208 x 122 x 14 mm and weighs 465 g, 512MB DDR2 667MHz RAM, an internal storage of 4, 16 or 32GB microSDHC port and a USB port.
The Aigo N700 tablet is also compatible with WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and 3G networks. We will rely on its 1.3-megapixel webcam and the presence of sensors (accelerometer, light, compass …). It uses a Android 2.1 system and is capable of 1080p video decoding, while supporting Flash 10.1.
It finally ships with a 3120 mAh battery which is not known what autonomy it provides. In a demonstration at the show MWC 2010, its assembler, Compal Communications, has assured that it can take 16 hours HD video playback and the price could be less than 300 dollars.
