The Chinese brand Sapphire unveiled its new PURE CrossFireX motherboard 890GX AM3.
With a AM3 socket to accommodate a AMD Sempron, AMD Athlon II or AMD Phenom II processor and four slots for up to 16 GB of RAM of type DDR3 800, 1066, 1333 or 1600 MHz, it is a ATX format motherboard (30.5 x 24.4 centimeters).
On board, there is an ATI Radeon HD 4290 chipset which is DirectX 10.1 compatible with up to 128MB of shared memory and triple HDMI/DVI/VGA, which may give way to two additional video cards PCI-Express 16x mounted in CrossFire. Besides that, we also note the presence of an HD audio controller 7.1 feeding two outputs S/PDIF Coaxial/Optical S/PDIF and a network controller Gigabit Ethernet.
There are also a PCI-Express x1, one PCI slot, one IDE interface, six interfaces SATA III, two PS/2 ports, four USB 2.0 ports (expandable to twelve numbers with four internal connectors) and a eSATA III port.
No sale date or price for the release yet. It will therefore be necessary to wait a bit before you can get this motherboard.
