Samsung announces new Slim Netbooks N230, N210 and N220

Samsung announces the renewal of its range of mini laptops, in response to its rival, which announced four new Asus Eee PC two weeks ago. The Korean manufacturer, in ascending order, then replies with four new models.

N230 Slim lightweight netbook

More nomadic, the Samsung N230 Slim focuses as its name indicates in its smoothness and light weight. With a weight of just over a kilogram (1.09 kg) and a thickness of only 23.2mm, it complements the recent N230 short which was already putting the emphasis on superior mobility in particular by its record autonomy announced at 1:30 p.m. .

To get this perfect body, the N230 Slim is however is somewhat low on the battery standard, which gives that autonomy of 7:00. The optional battery autonomy is still at 13 h 30, for a gain of weight and thickness not given.

Breath for the N220

The new Samsung N220 differs more, somewhat from the current standard configuration virtually these days on the netbook segment. It loads actually double the RAM (2GB) and a larger hard drive (320 GB). It therefore comes with Windows 7 Home Premium, and not with the starter edition which exceeds the maximum configuration. It finally shows a range of 30 to 10 hours with a thickness of 35.6 mm and weighing 1.31 kg.

Two routine updates

The Samsung N210 and N150, offer a range of respectively 30 and 13 h and 10 h 30 with a thickness of 35.6 mm and 34.7 mm and weighs 1.31 kg and 1.24 kg.
