MSI offers a new ultraportable PC, the Wind U230 model.
Equipped with a AMD Athlon II 1.6GHz dual core processor coupled with up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM of type 667 or 800 MHz, it is a 11.6-inch model running under Windows 7 Home Premium environment.
It has some ATI Radeon HD 3200 with shared memory for display in 1366 x 768 pixels or feeding an external display connected to HDMI or VGA, part high-definition audio via speaking two speakers or output mini-jack 3.5 mm, part wired Gigabit Ethernet ports with RJ-45 and a portion WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11n.
On board is also a 2.5-inch SATA hard disk with a capacity of 160, 250 or 320 GB, a multiformat memory card reader compatible MMC/MS/SD/xD, three USB 2.0 connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, webcam 1.3 Megapixel and a microphone.
All in sizes 29.7 x 19 x 2.4 to 3.1 cm and weighs 1.3 kg and powered by a 6-cell battery for 4 hours of autonomy. It is found at $396 price range.
