The new generation of Atom processors will be available in conventional configurations. The HP Mini 5103 will be released next month in the U.S. and the Asus Eee PC 1015PEM in October in Europe.
The dual-core netbook lands on. With its processor Atom N550 1.5 GHz, Intel brings a bit of novelty ranges of netbooks with stagnant performance.
These are HP and Asus which have started firstly with two netbooks with 10’1 inches, almost identical. The HP Mini 5103 and the Asus Eee PC 1015PEM, both embark on new N550 processor on Intel architecture NM10 (hence the chip GMA 3150) with 2 GB of RAM.
The HP Mini 5103 is off by a hard disk up to 7200 rpm and mobile connectivity with the operating system Qualcomm Gobi. It will arrive in September in the United States from $399. According to CNet.com, the "typical configuration" will cost it around $530.
The Asus Eee PC 1015 EMP will be available in four colors (red, black, white and pink) at a price of 349 euros. It will be marketed in Europe from October.
