Facebook stops IE6 support from September 15

Facebook developers have announced the end of the support for Internet Explorer 6.

Responding to numerous complaints from users regarding unwanted disconnections at the instant messaging module, the development team for the social networking site Facebook just announced via his blog, an update that will take place September 15 next.
