Acer presents at CES 2011 in Las Vegas on Acer smartphone Liquid Mini, a compact version of the Acer Liquid with a display 3.2 “and a 600 MHz processor.
The Acer Liquid that memo was the first smartphone to ship Android platform Snapdragon, was a great success (so that Acer had originally turned to Windows Mobile for its entry into the niche market of smartphones), and logically prompted the Taiwanese group to produce several variants.
The Acer Liquid Mini looks like a smartphone Android 2.2 Froyo and dimensions 110.4 x 57.5 x 13 mm 109 g only. It features a multitouch LCD display 3.2 “320 x 480 pixels and uses a processor Qualcomm MSM7227 600 MHz with 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM, the internal storage is expandable via a card slot microSDHC.
The smartphone has 5 megapixel camera and has Wi-Fi wireless connectivity (DLNA support), Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio and A-GPS. The Acer Liquid Mini is a smart phone quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE and dualband UMTS / HSPA 7.2 Mbps with a 1300 mAh battery provides 6.5 hours (3G) at 8 pm (GSM) of talk time and between 400 and 480 hours standby time.
If the smartphone runs on Android 2.2, and provides access to the portal Android Market, it also features a touchscreen overlay Acer Lite 4.0 UI and loads the service of sharing multimedia content on the home network Clear.fi.
It will be available in several colors and features of embedded applications such as multimedia player Nemo , the music recognition application music or software Social Jogger tracking articles on social networks.
