THE UK’S biggest computer game publisher SCi Entertainment says that it on track to becoming profitable again.
SCi, the outfit which bought us Lara Croft, has not been having a good time of things lately.
The outfit bought larger rival Eidos last May and there were fears that it might not hit its profit targets.
According to Business News, the company made a £10.9 million loss, in the last six months of 2005 which was £6 million worse than the same time in 2004.
But Sci says that is not a big problem as it was all due to the cost of getting its games out there. They said that the future is jolly bright now that it has struck a deal with Celador to publish “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” on Sony PSP and PS2 platforms and getting the rights to the “Stacked with Daniel Negranu” game.
