Sparkle Computer has now unveiled a new GT200-powered card, the custom cooled and factory overclocked GeForce GTX 285 Plus. Seen below, the new card features 240 Processing Cores, a 512-bit memory interface and 1GB of GDDR3 memory, 3-way SLI support, dual-DVI connectivity and a dual-slot Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme fansink which has 107 aluminum fins, five copper heatpipes, three 92mm fluid dynamic bearing fans working between 1000 and 2000 RPM, and pre-applied MX-2 thermal paste.
A blue custom-designed PCB is an Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme GTX cooler, which also makes use of the company’s MX-2 thermal interface material.
Apart from the cooler, the card features higher clock speeds over the reference NVIDIA speeds: 666/1512/2520 MHz (core/shader/memory). The price of this new Sparkle card has not been confirmed. The rest of its specs sheet looks fairly standard for the GTX 285: 240 shader processors, 1 GB of memory across a 512-bit wide GDDR3 memory interface, support for 3-way SLI, CUDA and PhysX.
