Western Digital announced the release of 2.5-inch drives for notebook with a capacity of 640 GB.
Using technology to 320 GB per platter, this 2.5-inch hard drive offers the largest storage capacity currently in a standardized format to two discs of 9.5 mm thick. The manufacturer also announced having worked on energy consumption with decreased it to around 30% over the previous generation and a very good performance / consumption.
They still use an interface SATA 3Gb / s, an 8MB cache and a speed of about 5 400 RPM.

The new version of Scorpio Blue 640 GB Western Digital will be available for a price of 10,000 INR with a guaranteed 3 years.
